Are you Desperate?

Sometimes we live life ready to take on the world. But sometimes we live life in the ... (eclipses), where we don't know what tomorrow holds. And sometimes we live life where we don't even know if we can take another breath. I have definitely lived in all three places. Of course the easiest is when I am ready to take on the world. The second place puts me in a position of trusting but still being able to take the next step. It is the last place, the desperate place that I must FULLY be relying on God. I know that God provides my next breathe and it all depends on Him. The best thing is that God's Word speaks to us no matter what place we are. He is always providing everything we need. Sometimes He uses His servants to also give us words that are needed to inspire and encourage us. I believe Sally Clarkson and Sarah Mae's new book Desperate will be that for Moms all over the world. When I read the introduction I was reminded of a place that I don't want to go back to, but I also know that at any moment I could be there. I am excited about the potential this book can open women to relying on the perfect sustainer, Jesus Christ.
